Who are Thirst Project?
Thirst Project is the world’s leading youth water activism organization. They travel across the US speaking at middle, high school, and college campuses to educate students about the global water crisis. They challenge young people to fundraise to build freshwater wells in developing nations and impoverished communities. 100% of all public donations go directly towards their well projects!

What is Thirst Project's mission?
Thirst Project’s mission statement is clear.
“Build a socially-conscious generation of young people who END the global water crisis. We do this by educating students about the water crisis and activating them to raise awareness and funds to build real water projects all over the world.”
How does Thirst Project make an impact?
Thirst Project believe that students are THE most powerful agents for change in the world! Their combination of education and advocacy has helped raise awareness of the water crisis across the world, and has resulted in over $11 million of clean water infrastructure. Since Thirst Project began educating students about the global water crisis in 2008, the response and initiative of students to take action on this issue has been amazing!
To shine a spotlight on one of Thirst Project’s most incredible campaigns, in 2012 the organization committed to providing the entire kingdom of Eswatini safe, clean drinking water. The estimated cost for this project is $50 million but to provide an entire country with clean water, that is a price worth fundraising for!
